How can I add an account?

One logged into app.justmetrics.net click your account name in the top right corner and select “Instagram accounts”.

You can then click the + symbol and follow the steps to add your account.

Why is there no data?



If you have just added your Instagram account then you will have to wait some time so that there is relevant data.

Waiting 4 hours or more is generally an ideal amount of time before checking back in.

Once updated you will see all of your data in your dashboard. If you haven’t seen any data after a few hours feel free to send us an email at mail@justmetrics.net

Can I add two Instagram accounts?



Yes, you can add as many accounts as you would like however you will have to pay a monthly subscription fee for each.

Simply navigate to the “Instagram Accounts” section from the top right drop down.

Click the “+” next to your existing account and follow the prompts to add it in.

Using the filters



In our engagement, optimization and posts pages we have added the ability to filter your data by post type, filter, hashtag, tagged users, and posts.

You can filter by 1 data type, or combine different filters to give you a better look into your data.

You can also select a single or even a group of images in the filter so you can see exactly how they have performed over time.

The filter is active when you can see the “Selected posts” notification under the widget heading. Remember to click “Reset” if you want to remove the filters you’ve applied and see all of your data.

Selecting custom time range



You can view your data from any day after the date that you signed up to Just Metrics.

To view data between custom dates click on the date selector in the top right and click on “Custom Range” at the bottom of the list. Select your custom start and end date and hit apply.

Comparing your data



Comparing your data against previous periods can give you a good insight into how your account is performing over time.

To compare your current data to a previous period simply click the calendar icon next to the hour/day/month button.

Choose which period you would like to compare with from the drop down list.

Removing an Instagram account



To remove one of your connected Instagram accounts head to the “Instagram Accounts” page in the top right drop down menu.

Hit the “X” in the top right of the subscription you would like to remove. You will be prompted to enter your password to remove your account.

Once your Instagram account has been removed we will keep your subscription active in the “Unassigned subscriptions” section, so you can either add your Instagram back in at a later date or enter a new Instagram account.

*Please note that after your account is removed all data will be lost permanently.

How do we track your data?



Here at Justmetrics we aim to provide you with the best overall picture into the engagement your account is receiving. We don’t believe that tracking engagement only from your most recent posts is enough to give you an informed insight into your account.

This is why we don’t only track engagement from your latest posts, we track all engagement your account receives, from all of your posts, so you never miss a comment or like again.

Adding a public account



To add an Instagram account that you don’t own (such as one of your competitors) simply navigate to the “Instagram Accounts” page from the top right drop down menu and select “Add Instagram account”.

Once pressed you’ll be prompted to connect your own Instagram account, however look for the link underneath “Track a public account”.

Now start typing the account you would like to track, select it from the drop down list of options and click “Connect public account”. No data
